Dual VET (Vocational Education and Training)

Inspired by the highly successful German apprenticeship model, RIT has introduced a Dual VET system for students during their six-month industrial training period. This program bridges the gap between academic theory and industrial application through a split-week schedule.

Program Structure
The program follows a 3+3 day weekly rotation, ensuring students develop technical proficiency and professional experience simultaneously.

3 Days at RIT: Students focus on hands-on skill development in a controlled environment.
Training includes:
Operating Conventional machines (lathes, mills, etc.).
Programming and operating CNC machines.
Advanced CAD/CAM software applications for part design and manufacturing preparation.

3 Days at Partner Company : Students transition to a real-world production environment to:
Engage in real-time production workflows.
Gain firsthand industrial experience and workplace culture.

Apply RIT-learned techniques to commercial-grade projects.

Key Benefits
Synchronized Learning: Practical training at RIT runs parallel to industrial work, allowing for immediate troubleshooting and skill reinforcement.
Industry Readiness: Reduces the “onboarding” time for graduates by exposing them to professional production standards before graduation.
German-Standard Quality: Adopts a globally recognized framework for vocational excellence, ensuring students are competitive in the international manufacturing sector.
